Philippine Airlines is the main flag carrier of the Philippines which was first founded in year 1941. The airline serves 31 destinations in the Philippines and 54 overseas. Recently, on 2012, San Miguel Corporation bought 49% stake in Philippine Airlines and mad the strategic act with the objective of modernising and strengthening the airline through the renewal of its fleet.

Economy Class passengers benefit from the new seats, which features an actuating seat pan that enables the seat bottom cushion to be moved up or forward to support the body when relaxing. It is also outfitted with a 9" seat-back mounted and in-arm touch-screen personal TV. The relaxed, tropical feel extends to the front and back ends of the cabin where interiors, curtains, carpets and surfaces are in various shades of blue, white, grey, silver and tan.
Philippine Airlines passengers can check in up to 5 bags, which the dimensions should not exceed 158cm total (length + width + height) and the weight cannot exceed 25kg for Economy Class passengers, 30kg for Premium Economy, and 35kg for Business Class passengers. Keep in mind that a single piece of baggage should weigh no more than 32kg. For the hand baggage each passenger may carry one bag of 56x36x23cm in size weighing up to 7kg.
