Lufthansa will be offering you a new travel experience between Business Class and Economy Class on long-haul flights. Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, you will enjoy more personal space, more service and more extras. So you'll be able to enjoy a thoroughly relaxing journey – both on the ground and on board.  Their fleet of Boeing 747-8s will be the first to be fitted with the new Premium Economy seats – they expect these retrofitted aircraft to fly in the winter 2014/2015 timetable from Frankfurt to the following destinations: Beijing, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Mumbai, São Paulo, Seoul and Washington, D.C. From the end of January 2015 they expect their first Airbus 340-600s with Premium Economy Class on board to take off from Munich to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo: from the end of April the A380s will then probably fly from Frankfurt to Houston, Johannesburg, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Shanghai and Singapore. By the late summer of 2015 it is expected that you will be able to enjoy the benefits of the new Premium Economy Class on the entire Lufthansa long-haul fleet.

Luggage Allowance

Lufthansa transports a certain amount of checked-in baggage ('free baggage') and hand luggage free of charge. These amounts may vary depending on the route, booking class, Miles & More member status, etc.  The permitted free baggage allowance is determined by the service class booked and the status of the passenger and is shown on the ticket/Passenger Receipt.
