Air China, established in 1988, is the flag carrier and one of the largest airlines in the People's Republic of China. The Classes of air china

First Class

The cabin offers individual seat pod-style flat-bed seats. Most aircraft cabins are quite modern and presented in a quite clean state. They are spacious, provide good privacy, and have a large IFE screen. The onboard catering is amazing, with a good choice of wine. A small amenity kit is provided, slippers and nice pyjamas.

Business Class

Most Air China long-haul aircraft offer flatbed seats. You can also find in some aircrafts a slightly wider seat, that will make you relax through the trip as the crew provide you with a nice duvet and pillow. You will receive an amenity kit and a pair of slippers. The Business Class menu is not that different to First Class, where you'll be offered Chinese and Western options.

Premium Economy Class

This class bridges the gap between Economy and Business, offering more legroom, wider seats, and enhanced recline. Premium Economy passengers receive upgraded meals and beverages, priority boarding, and additional baggage allowance.

Economy Class

Economy Class provides comfortable seating with adjustable headrests and personal entertainment screens. Passengers can enjoy a selection of meals and beverages, and a range of in-flight entertainment options to make their journey enjoyable.


Disabled passengers can have assistance while embarking or disembarking, transport mobility devices, facilities for assistance dogs and meals according to dietary requirements. It's suggested that you let the airline know of your requirements at least 48 hours before the flight.


Air China's Economy Class passengers can check in one bag weighing up to 23kg, while Premium Economy Class are entitled to check in two bags each weighing up to 23kg. First/Business Class passengers may check in two pieces of baggage, each weighing up to 32kg. The dimensions of each bag cannot exceed 158cm (height + width + length).

For the hand baggage, Economy Class passengers can take one piece of luggage with maximum weight of 5kg. Business Class and First Class customers are allowed to carry two pieces of baggage, not to exceed 8kg each. The maximum dimensions of the hand baggage must not exceed 115cm (Height, Length and Width).
